Description

This vintage Marena Handarbeit (handmade) Art Deco revival brooch/pendant dates to the 1980s and was made in Germany. It is crafted in brass and features an iridescent mother-of-pearl center with aurora borealis rhinestone accents, plus dramatic chain fringe dangles for lots of movement. The back is signed “MARENA Handarbeit Germany” and includes a secure pin clasp as well as a fixed bale so it can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant.

Measurements: approximately 1.5" wide x 2.2" long.
Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light age-appropriate surface wear to the metal and minor wear consistent with normal use. The mother of pearl displays a lovely sheen, the rhinestones appear bright and intact, and the pin mechanism functions properly.
