Description

This exquisite antique Edwardian ring is crafted in luminous 18k white gold and showcases a richly colored blue sapphire cabochon at its center. The sapphire, approximately 3.8 carats, displays a deep, velvety blue with subtle internal glow, beautifully emphasized by its smooth cabochon cut. Surrounding the stone is a finely detailed white gold bezel, framed by elegant hand-worked filigree shoulders that exemplify the refinement and delicacy of Edwardian-era jewelry.

The ring was made by Charles M. Levy of New York and dates to approximately 1896–1915, a period celebrated for its airy filigree work and graceful proportions. It is a US size 4.25 and bears the appropriate maker’s mark and gold hallmark on the interior of the band.

The ring is in very good antique condition, with light wear consistent with age. The sapphire is securely set, and the filigree remains crisp and well preserved, making this a striking and highly collectible example of Edwardian craftsmanship.
