Description

Infuse your mantle, console, or display cabinet with European luxury using this magnificent Renaissance-style ceramic vase by the historic Faïencerie de Gien. Originally founded in 1821 in France's Loire Valley, Gien became world-renowned for recreating old-world masterpieces with incredible precision. This highly collectible piece showcases a rich, multi-toned palette of cobalt blue, soft ivory, and warm ochre. Central hand-painted cartouches illustrate playful cherubs and putti intermingled with allegorical creatures, acanthus leaf friezes, and stylized scrollwork. The shapely, classic urn or trophy profile is flanked by sculptural handles that draw the eye toward its flared rim and geometric foot accents. Perfect as a standalone luxury accent or a functional bouquet vase, each authentic piece bears the official Gien factory hallmark and hand-decorated signature on its base.
