Vintage Large Signed Leo Glass Etruscan Style Brooch with Gemstones

Bold, opulent, and richly detailed, this large vintage brooch by Leo Glass is a striking example of mid-20th century Etruscan Revival design, dating to the 1940s.

Crafted in ornate gold-tone metal, the circular openwork form is densely decorated with scrolling filigree, granulated textures, and classical motifs inspired by ancient jewelry traditions. The front is set with four beautifully carved gemstoness arranged around the center: a lavender amethyst rose, a pale green mossagate rose, a blue sodalite rose, and a warm orange carnelian rosa, each held in prong settings that rise from the intricate framework. Along the lower edge, a fringe of dangling filigree bead charms adds movement and dramatic presence.
