Description

This rare Henkel & Grosse bird brooch, dated 1965, is a charming mid-century designer piece crafted in gilt sterling silver. The design features a textured, stylized bird with finely carved, ripple-like feather detailing that gives it a lively, dimensional look. A single red stone (rhinestone accent) forms the bird’s eye, adding a bright pop of color against the warm gold-toned finish.

The bird is perched on a sculptural branch with leaf detailing, also richly textured for a naturalistic, high-end finish. With its elegant scale and strong visual presence, this brooch works beautifully on a lapel, dress, sweater, or coat collar—classic mid-century glamour with a playful twist.

Measurements are approximately 1.9 inches long and 1.25 inches wide.
