Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Chatelaine Set with Notebook, Pencil & Coin Holder

This is an antique Victorian-era chatelaine set crafted primarily in sterling silver, featuring three classic accessories suspended from fine chains: a miniature notebook, a mechanical pencil, and a coin holder. Designed to hang from a belt or waistband, chatelaines were both practical and decorative, and this example is a wonderful surviving accessory from the late 19th century.

The notebook contains six reusable pages, typical of the period, and is fitted with a smooth hinged cover. The mechanical pencil remains intact but is currently empty of lead. The coin holder is silver plated, with a rounded form that complements the other pieces. All three items are attached to a single ring at the top, allowing the set to be worn or displayed together.

The entire chatelaine measures approximately 8 inches long. The maker is unknown, with no visible hallmark noted.

Condition: Good antique condition overall, with surface wear, light scratches, and patina consistent with age and use. The notebook pages remain usable, the chains are intact, and all components hang securely.
