Description

This antique English sterling silver chocolate pot was crafted in London in 1784 by silversmith William Cattell. Designed with a distinctive side wooden handle, it features elegant repoussé floral and scroll decoration, with additional engraving to the spout and lid. The domed cover is topped with a finely turned finial, completing the refined Georgian style. A beautiful example of late 18th-century silverwork, this chocolate pot reflects both function and artistry, making it a superb addition for collectors of English silver.
