The Lismore story began in 1952, at the hands of Chief Designer Miroslav Havel. The pattern was an ode to the Gothic architecture of the 800-year-old Lismore Castle, inspired by the symmetry of the towers, pointed arches and elegant curves of the windows.

The Waterford "Lismore Traditions" pattern is a timeless crystal design that combines elegance and heritage. Inspired by the classic Lismore pattern, it features intricate diamond and wedge cuts that reflect light beautifully. This retired pattern honors traditional Irish craftsmanship, offering a refined, sparkling aesthetic ideal for formal dining and special occasions.
